The regulation of the rally doesn't have any limitations on the route that each team can follow. The only rule is to get to Ulan-Bator, Mongolia's capital. Our team will follow the so-called "Souther Way". We plan to leave from Milan (Italy) on July 6th. The next day we'll meet the other teams from all across Europe in Budapest. From Hungary we will cross Serbia and Bulgaria, then we'll enter into Turkey and cross the whole country till the boarder with Iran. We'll then cross Iran from Tabriz to Mashad via Tehran and finally we'll enter the heart of Central Asia. We'll go through Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan and finally enter the Russian steppes, from which we'll enter into Mongolia. Then, after a few thousand miles of Mongolian wastelands we'll finally reach our destination: Ulan-Bator. The journey will take approximately 25 days, during which we'll cross 14 countries, 9 capital cities and hundreds of villages. In total we'll drive 12000Km of tarmac, mud and sand.
